Looks very nice. Athrun looks good, so does Lacus, although she's missing her trademark gold hairpin. But once again Athrun is paired with the wrong girl. Meyrin must be going nuts.

This is the time I reveal the answer to the mysterious girl for the fanart I submit weeks ago. Athrun and a girl. THe answer is Lacus. I recieve quite a few answer, like meer, lacus..... Yeah, it is Lacus. Why is it not cagali? When i was drawing this, I had a very strong feeling to draw lacus because I think she and Athrun will make a good couple. They have many similar characteristic to them. Though I love athrun with cagali as well. It was a torn decision. Maybe i will resubmit another fanart with cagali as well.
Why I choose to draw lacus is that there are very few fanart depicting athrun with lacus. As known they are both attached to others. So I want something different.
The art is inspired by the artbook I had. I first draw using pencil and then upload to computer and use paint workshop
to colour the picture.
I try to do shading and i was quite satisfied with the effect.
The background was rather simple. I was trying to draw a sunset. But really it was very hard so i decide to just use colour to create the sunset effect.

Thanks teletha. i dont know whether u notice it or not? the hairpin is actually protraying the word GSD in a heart shape. If you look more clearly, you will see her earring also bear the same design. This was something i try to make to show that Gundam seed destiny (GSD) is an anime whereby there is so much love in this gundam series. Not just mecha action.

Well, that's true.
I think that there are only few fanarts or other submissions featuring Lacus and Athrun as couples. I have to admit that I also used to love them as couples.

Thanks! Will keep on working to bring more and better art. Now im thinking of drawing GS /GSD characters with soukyuu no fafner since the characters look so similar. As they are design by the same man. Be sure to look out for it then. See ya!
