pretty good. It shows though that you haven't drawn a man before. Your lady looks fine, but he looks a little strange, especially around the neck.

Hey, this is pretty cool. I believe you put a great amount of effort with this new art piece of yours. Your male character turn out looking good even though you don't draw male characters too often. I am the same way, I just draw more of female characters compare to male. ^_^'
Now about the work. :) I really enjoy observing the small details and coloring you have done for this piece. I like the structure of the female character's dress and the guy's is alright. Your shadowing was done very well and I like colors you had choosen for your characters/BG.
This work of yours gives off a magical feel and it even shows. The lighting trees and mist surrounding the characters looks very appealing to me. Everything turned out matcing like the pink moon, pink shooting star, and pink show flakes. Even for an experiment it turn out really good. Great job Susan-chan. :)

This is really pretty :D It reminds me of 2 characters from a childhood favorite of mine, so I'm curious, are these designs from a book that you have read and if so what book? It'd be interesting if it is the two characters that I am thinking of ^.^ so I won't mention who I thought they were until I hear from you ;)
The design is really lovely. I know what you mean - I tend to draw more females then males, mainly because I love experimenting with hair and clothes.
I get a strong mystical feel from this doujinshi, the colors and the way you've used them are fantastic :D The eyes are simply gorgeous and I love the vibrant red color of the girl's hair!
Hehe, not to be nasty - and I know that you don't draw male characters that well, but the way your male character's arms are folded, it kind of looks like he is wearing a straight jacket - but trust me, that takes nothing away from the quality of this art. I only noticed after staring at it - and it doesn't look as bad when it is in full view.
Lovely work Susan-chan and I look forward to hearing about these two characters ;)

I really like her stylized dress. It's gothic, yet victorian, medevil, even a bit art deco styled. The couple you've matched together suit each other well. The purple & blue color theme you have used balances the image out well. The little sparkles also make the couple seem more surreal as well.
Your male character also looks great, even though you say you don't draw males that often. THe only ting that seems a little wierd is his neck ... seems to look like it's turned a little oddly ... might just be me though. He seems to be the more caring one in the relationship though, as he is looking at her kindly while she seems to be glaring at us to go away or something. Maybe we intereupted a private moment they were having and now she's mad at us XD .

That's the second thing which caught my eye after the girl. The background is very cool.
He makes a pretty acceptable guy, but the girl steals the show though. :D -
