Okay, since I always make night and dark wallies XD I wanted to break my style and make a Happy and colorful one XP
Ummm I had a little trouble thinking about what to do, first I began making the BG, I used two stock pictures of Studio Ghibli to make most part of the BG, change the angle and position of the photos to make the mountains and grass with flowers and combining them with the "clone stamp tool" :)
Also I made a River at the back of the girl (this one isn't stock)
The path is made by myself using the style of a picture of Full Metal Alchemist. I added some grass brushes to mix the path with the grass of the studio Ghibli stock photos.
With the clone tool again reproduce some of the rocks in the Ghibli picture and put them in different parts of the BG (like in the one in the ground way) ^^
The sky is made all by myself with a gradient of white and light blue and the usage of some cloud brushes ;)
The tree with yellow leaves in front of the whole BG is also a stock pic from a scan I found in the web.
Finally, the birds are also stock from a Gundam Seed scan I found here in MT :)
I spent a lot of time extracting the Scans from all the stock pics I used and also a long time merging all the pictures together so that they look right T_T

hey thats really colorful. the first thing i noticed tho was the shadows. it looks like theres 2 light sources comming from both sides of the wall kinda made it look funny. the font colors dont really match, but thats minor. i do however love your bush work .. it is really pretty. the scan is also really good too. its in a huge res as well. i like it.

Awww, kitty this is really nice. I like all your ideas of combining the stock photos, blending them well, stamping in to fill in the gaps and to complete the image, hunting for other various components and putting it all together to make a wonderful image. Nice job on creativity and resortfulness and ingenuity. Apparently, it was so well done and blended so well that the image is stunning. You should be proud of yourself ^_^

Oh Megamasama ! I simply love this artwerk ! This could almost pass for an postcard, especially w/ the little lassie in the foreground. The scenery could almost be somewhere in Ireland, perhaps Scotland along the shore (beach). One can tell w/ the seagulls in the sky.
I must admit, the two houses are of the same size. The house that sits higher, should be smaller because the 2nd house is sitting further back.
This would be a "multi point" perspective shot.
I still love this "Wallie !" -

The concept itself is wonderful, so good job on that!
my only problem is the with the blending of images...
at first glance its great (with the warmth and perpective and everything) but then you notice the smaller details where you've used the grass brush to mix in the path and create depth with the basket and what not...honestly im a wee bit disappointed (what with your skills) that you didnt try brush in those extra details manually... oh well.
a good job though.

Clever use of the cloning tool... I was actually happier with the image not knowing, but hey.
Nice on the river & clouds, especially the clouds. Fits right in.
