Hi MT :)

Okay, since I always make night and dark wallies XD I wanted to break my style and make a Happy and colorful one XP

Ummm I had a little trouble thinking about what to do, first I began making the BG, I used two stock pictures of Studio Ghibli to make most part of the BG, change the angle and position of the photos to make the mountains and grass with flowers and combining them with the "clone stamp tool" :)

Also I made a River at the back of the girl (this one isn't stock)

The path is made by myself using the style of a picture of Full Metal Alchemist. I added some grass brushes to mix the path with the grass of the studio Ghibli stock photos.

With the clone tool again reproduce some of the rocks in the Ghibli picture and put them in different parts of the BG (like in the one in the ground way) ^^

The sky is made all by myself with a gradient of white and light blue and the usage of some cloud brushes ;)

The tree with yellow leaves in front of the whole BG is also a stock pic from a scan I found in the web.

Finally, the birds are also stock from a Gundam Seed scan I found here in MT :)

I spent a lot of time extracting the Scans from all the stock pics I used and also a long time merging all the pictures together so that they look right T_T

------------------------------------(...)

Tecnical Info:

Hours: 12hours aprox (I didn't sleep)

Layers: 40+

Program: Adobe Photoshop CS

Scans: Gundam Seed, Studio Ghibli, FMA and Unknown ones.

Size: 1.73 MB

Resolution: 1600x1200

------------------------------(...) I've finished now, so I leave it here for comments, critics, favies and stuff! ;)
Hope you like it ^_^'

I almost forgot! I want to dedicate this wallie to the group COLORFULL WALLIES specially cos I feel very happy tu be part of it and they are always very Kind with me :D So this is for you guys! ^^

Hmm, this is quite interesting. There's a lot going on, but I think there's too many differences in textures and quality ... The water looks really out of place, not drawn looking like the rest of it. The rocks are repeated weirdly and the blur is overlaping the grass, which makes it not incorporate well, looks like it's floating above the grass in some parts though. There are parts where it's flawless. The leaves need to be extracted a bit better and are too bright and flat looking.

I just don't feel the character fits in it, but you did a good job at merging everything, you got some skill for it.

it must taken some extraction to get this! LOL nice work, however i think more can be done to make the different scans fit better together...i mean the water and the mud parts looks abnormal...

nice porportion overall! =D great job!

Waaaaah, this is so adorable! I thought so, it looked like Ghibli was somewhere in the wallie but I really love all the elements... the ginko leaves, her shadow, the flowers and the field. It's so nostalgic, makes me want to go and pick flowers. + fav

    OMG
I wish I could such nice works! I like very much the bright and lively colours you've used here, I really enjoy the main character, I love the landscape, and it's so lively with all the seagulls (I suppose it's not far from the coast... it reminds me my homeland a lot, it's a beautiful green place with mountains by the sea). Beautiful!
