a fairly simple wall i did. I was in the mood to do a design wall yet it seems
like its the new fad these days so i went with something a little different. For
those who are unaware or havent noticed, the wall is a blatant parody of the
white stripes "get behind me satan" album art:

the white stripes have always been one of bands in recent years that i like and
i always loved their album art.
i tried to recreate the basic composition of "get behind me satan"
with chars from gankutsuou which is a show i havent gotten around to watching
but deifnitely will sometime in the future. the original scans didnt have the
hands in the right place so i had to edit and splice together other scans to
create the correct pose for them. also, the apple was just vectored off of the
album art along with whatever jack white was holding (i have no idea what that
is). both chars were vectored and retextured using either stock, scans, or the
kimono patterns from tama-neko's site:

and also credit goes to nageni, flyin, and shadowdude for double checking and
crit. the wall.

i really like what you were trying to accomplish here but the hands and the apple lose the effect. also Haylee's hand is missing a piece at the bottom. the hands also are facing an incorrect angle..
looks forced to me..
btw- the stripes kick ass. shame you didn't do a "Seven Nation Army" style wall..

this pic is nice becuz of the representation... they're partners or something? i haven't see the anime so i dont know... I'm just the way the touch their fingers in the back with the intention that nobody is watching...
but is kinda wwwweeeeeeeeeeeird... is not their hands, or yes?:S... i would change the background, i dont know, but it makes contrast with the girl, that's nice
Intresting feeling coming from this wall... kinda ethereal and at the same time trancendant? but overall its a simplistic wall as always man... kinda not sure about the light flickering around it but the patterns do it justice. Great job as always! :P

Gankutsuou wallies are fast always interessant, this one is sure. I like this simply but with nice effect background, those hands and apple are great symbols, this apple reminds me on Greek Myths. ^-^ This "almost touch" is symbolic to me too,but haven't saw this anime/read manga... so.. I have reflexions about it but none are related with that. I like this wallie, I like are things that makes my thinking about many things ;^-^ hehe.. it sounds weird.. don't you think? but I can't describe better my thoughts. See you!
