I have a habit of drawing stuff in front of me...
I think it turned out quite nice really....
Piri's a NPC from the manga Yureka. She's my favourite character after Aradon.

Ahhh I like this picture! It's very nicely done and the shading is delicate well that's what I though but I really enjoy this so I hope you keep it up.
Drawing things that are in front of you is a great habit! It allows to you to observe depth and perspective really well, and you can pick up details more than that with something in your mind and then with enough practice, it will come second nature to you!
She has a real natural pose happening and I like what you have down with the background. Is this character part of a fan fic of yours or something?
