Beautiful clouds. Characters fits like a glove. As you say, you overdid it with the "shapes and stuff". Personally i don't like the huge one under the text (the white one), and even the text itself is disturbing imo. I like to look at my wallpaper and dream myself away while i listen to music, but that big blob of text isn't helping.
While I said you overdid it with the shapes and stuff, it may be enough to make them blend a bit more with the sky.. Or whatever. :P
Other than the things i mentioned, I think it's great work.

Very nice wall I like the clouds and the sun on the left side. Also very soft on my eyes not too bright but just bright enough. Nice job keep it up, Fav.

The clouds mix in well with Bell and Holy Bell. I dont mind the text, it fits, but could you also submit a textless versions?
The shapes are a good idea and aren't overpowering , maybe you could of looked up and incorporated some Nordic symbols in there? thats if they are, i dont actually know what they look like XD
ive saved this but i wouldnt mind a 1280x1024 version, PM me about that ^^

This wallpaper is absolutely wonderful!
The background is very nicely done and highly appropriate for Ah! My Goddess. Although i have noticed that the vector of Belldandy have been used before in another wallpaper i saw in also in Minitokyo. Great job! -

I tell you what, just when you don't think these wallpapers can get any better -- they do! This is amazing work Umboody, the characters and colors jump right off the page, and it's one of the best examples of the background working in sync with the foreground that I've yet come accross here. One of the things, to be specific, that I liked was the design work put into the blue portion of the sky so as to add that much more interest, visually, into that portion of the "canvas."
Thanks for all the effort, it's a keeper!

Nice wall... I mean honestly I wouldn't worry about the detail you put into the back drop cause in my opinion it compliments the detailed drawing of Belldandy and Holybell very well. The lighting is so soft and bright it gives it sort of a misty effect which is pretty cool to ^_^ its a great wall worthy of being proud of. Great job!
