Wow, it's been freakin' forever since I last did a wall... and since I'm a new member of Colorful Wallies, I figured it was high time for me to take another crack at it!
The scan is from here on MT - the two girls were so cute, and they looked to me like they were sisters. It made me nostalgic, which is why this wall is so fluffy and sentimental. ^_^'
I did plum blossoms this time around because I overuse sakura - plus, I think purple's a better color.
THE HARD STUFF
- the water, of course, especially getting perspective on the texture and the ripples. (~_~)
- the torii in the background, since I had to vector them.

Just by one glance you can tell that you put tons of effort into the making of the background. It's very detailed and well done. The extraction looks kinda strange to me, but it might just be my computer. Good work. It's a fave. =^.^=

It sure is colorful and happy looking! The background looks very nice. The water and grass look great. But extraction on the scan is a little rough and some edges look sorta blurry. Still, i like it!

I love the sakura trees. They all look so cute, and they're even different from eachother! XD (If it were me, I'd probably make one and then copy and paste it all over the wallie OX )
The branch on the right is my favorite. It does look like a real one. ;)
And the grass is so cute! I liked the water as well, it must be difficult... -_-
I think that there's a little bit of difference on the luminance of the scan, comparing it with the bg, but maybe my eyes are tricking me -_-
