This image had already stuck out to me while going through the submissions thanks to it's color scheme, and complex layout, but after reading the inspiration behind it re: vertigo, it's that much better than it already was.
Excellent work.

definition of Vertigo: Illusion of movement; sense of spinning or feeling of disequilibrium.
(you can Google the definition for more detailed explainations)
its been a while since i did an extraction like this ^^;; i think im losing it XO
i noticed that most of the wallpapers in this category were sceneric so i decided that my submit should not be ^___^
initially i started to do a scene bg but then i decided to cut circle shapes out of it and collage them together.
since the theme was vertigo, i flipped the scan upside down and used some grungey arrows from DA.

i didnt know it but i was using similar blues to the dress...so blue it is XD
also added a slight screentone to give a more computery screen look
do not ask me about the reference to iPod in the title cause it was completely random.
well this is officially a wallpaper from me cause i hadnt done one of a scan and i wanted to finish one before march break ends ;_;

Sorry for the late reply, it seems that you my friend are really improving in your skill...nice use of the icy colors of
blue and the "Ipod" notion came to mind when seeing this but nonetheless you pulled out a fast one on me...!
^__^
Great job! :P
Yeah it's a cool point of view. I like twist down wall like this.
The mix between stock photos and vector doesn't botter me at all, I think it gives an original look.
And I like the colors too ^^
Thanks for sharing ;)
I really love it!
