First thing I'd like to say:
THIS IS NOT A WALLPAPER!
Grr...ok I'm calm now...
Hm..don't know what else to say about this. This was my first serious vector project. I vectored other things in preparation to do this. Links to my first two practise vectors at the bottom of the description. I did this wall in prepartion for my next wall (hopefully ready to submit by the end of the month) which is like 50% complete right now.
First vector. The original image is in the top left corner in it's original size. In this one, I haven't quite mastered the pen tool yet so I made this...
It's a vector of Saber from Fate/Stay night and I think I've finally mastered the pen tool!
Boring Stats:
Hours: 22 (I actually kept track of time on this one =P)
Layers: ~30(too lazy to count)
Cups of coffee required: 15(It hink I'm becomming an addict ><)
Number of times computer froze: Stopped counting after 30 times. I think I need a new computer *goes to destroy
computer*

This is amazingly well done. The colors and patterns are creative, the vector is nearly perfect (a few rough edges here and there, but nothing to worry about) However, the orange/gold areas could use some patterns, they seem kind of simple without any (not really that big of a problem) This is one of the best vectors I have seen in awhile.

I absolutely loved the idea of vectoring manga images (I used an anime one from xxxHolic to make a wallpaper ^^ ) and you did a fantastic job! You stayed true to the original image but always gave it a slight anime look because of the smoothness. You also amde perfect use of the textures (or atleast, I'm using those are textures? <_<) . Anyways, I love it! It's a fav for sure ^-^

It's gorgeous. Truly Gankutsuou-esque; love the star field on the black spaces, and the leaves on the...leaves :) Like bromithia said, there are a few spots that are less than smooth, but for the most part it's stunning.

The only thing I disliked witht his piece was the yellow-brown pattern in most of this. It felt like it didn't fit in, and I think some smoother pattern would look better. But still really good.
