Okay it's a pretty nice drawing, i like the theme a lot ^_^
I think you should emphazise the background more, because from what i can make out it looks pretty good (but i
can't see much). The characters are really sweet, but they've got a 'sad' mood to them, maybe
because they're turning their backs to each other (or maybe it's a feeling of
'unaccomplishment').
The clothes are nice as well, especially the dress.
I think the main flaw here is the lack of detail and shading. Apart from the fact that the bg is too faint, the characters' hair miss detail (the guy's hair only has the outline for it), and there's no shading on the clothes.
Otherwise, a nice job XD... Wishing you the best of luck with your cherished one as well *gambatte*
