Ahahaha, well I'm no good with simplistic walls. -_- The right seems a bit heavy, but then again I don't want to overdue the candy and I figured icon space on the left isn't too bad...
Well in order to get this wall/joke you have to be a Gundam fan, or at least be familiar with the RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium Orchis" of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083. My brother found this image browsing the net a few months ago, and I recently acquired it from him. I thought it was hysterical, even though I am not an Azumanga fan. (You can thank my brothers for that- Playing the same episode 4 times a day and then quoting from it... *twitch*) Anyway, you can compare the uncanny resemblance between the GP03 and Osaka here:

Cool! Nice art & vectoring! I agree with leaving some icon space on the left.. It's frustrating sometimes when you have this cool wallpaper but can't use it because it messes up the icon's visibility...
