Ninja & Pirate = Ultimate Power!
It's about time I made a ninja wall 
And
Ayame's just too cool ^-^
Anyways, this took me almost 6 hours to make. The pagoda was scanned from a book I found, and I ended up cutting it out from the sky and the ground so I could draw those in myself. The building took the most time because I had to clean it up for starters to get rid of the grain from the scanenr and I used several layers to tweek & play with the color and light settings of the buidling. I traced the shadow on the ground from the original scan to keep it in the right depth perspective as well.
I drew the Sakura tree (I have a tree fetish of late, yes?) and added a glint to
Ayame's weapon for kicks. Actually, the tree was a maple tree when I started and
somehow it converted to cherryblossoms during the whole walling process 
Okay, this has to be the longest I've blabbed so I'll stop.

I think U did a great job in cleaning the scan, though it can be a lil blur, but its still a great job^^

As for the pagoda, its extracted nicely too^^ what I think is missing is the shadows for it...
The tree too... a lil shadow will be nice, inner or drop, your choice^^

Great job on the tree and the weapon glint. I especially link the glint. If you had not pointed it out, I would have thought it was somehow part of the scan. Once you pointed it out however, I can see that you can't cut such effect from a scan.
One thing that's weird is the shadow under her. It looks like another building is there, but it's only the tree. The tree itself doesn't seem to cast any shadow. You have some far reaching branches, so even considering the light angle, there should be some shadow, no?
