This wallpaper is nothing much to say about it, I was working on some sigs which make me use all sorts of blending and I created something out of an experimental step. Yet, again, I created a wall of an unnamed character from one of the Megami Magazine scans I found on the net, hence why I am submitting it here. I seriously just wanted to share it. I am not too sure of which category to go to. Sorry.
anyway, time wise, this took from the sig to be transferred into an actual wall took around a week, of blending and experinmenting, hence the "devildude effect" or something to that extent is born. The rage of colors are from altered stock photos of 3D renders and stuff and also rendered difference clouds. Set again, by blending to get the effect. I am not too sure how I eventually got to this stage of effects but lets say I am lucky. I will be backstepping to see what have gave me this wallpaper's general effects.
Anyway, I am glad to be finally submitting this as it took a lot out of me.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoy experinmenting with it. I do not expect a lot of people to like it. Just
that, well, you all were asking if I am gonna make a new wall without all the shapes I usually used, so I say yeah, why
not. I failed that, so back to PaulW. brushes again. Thanks to Paul W. again.

meh, I have to adjust the colors, and stroke hard on some parts hence why the jagged edges...and I could not spend too much time going by the whole vector thing again, so I decided hell...smart blur and stroke lol.

First, I love the effects and the new style you made.
The scan is good for the bg, gives that happy
fun feeling for the wallie. I pictured a fighter scan
or ninja actually for the bg but this girl is ok.It's a little jagged aroung the edges of her hair
especially but the colors and bg make up for it.
Which brings me to the colors of the wallie,
very nice blends and splashes in <3
The black makes it look not too bright so it fills in
very well :)
and the text is good, I like the way you make
your text, their very nice placed <3

Hey Devildude. I'm sorry I havent been around to comment on your works. It seems you have changed your style quite a bit since I last saw but somehow, it still retains your trademark style. I miss your vector circle walls x.x but at least I can see that theres still some vector circles in your new style. This wall is muich more colourful than your previous walls too which is a good thing =) I'm not a huge fan of ecchi though...

Well; unlike many people I think abstract walls are very complicated compared to the compositional scenic and atmospheric ones. They require extreme creativity and a nice eye. This one here is a nice one...but has a long way to go as an abstract in my opinion. Use of color is good however the wall is too much distorted. The elements of the wall is too scattered to be recognized or to be called quality effects. Same goes for the text. Typo is underestimated in this one I guess. Actually text is the most important thing when you are dealing with abstract or grunge type of walls.
The scan is jagged; very jagged actually. I am a little dissappointed since you decided to submit this one with these. But that's a preference thing it seems.
All I have to say is basically; this really can't compete with the saber wall I once seen from you. Those kinda brushes bugs me usually but in that one they didn't because the composition was really good.
Anyways enough said. This one should be improved in many ways but still nice to see you trying different things. Also thank you for the plug man; much appriciated. -

Very nicely done. I'm glad you "just wanted to share it". The description of the effects went a bit over my head, but I love the result. The abstract water spray is very nice.

Indeed a slight shift from your usual style but nevertheless a great piece of work! I really like the blend of colors that you used in this wall and it goes perfectly with the scan. Great job Devildude! Keep it up, your work never ceases to impress me.
