A simplistic piece but it's really have a nice look to it. You did a nice job on the extraction and the scan fits with your bg. I woud've love to see it with a bluish tint and bg but the green match well with the shading. I like the saying but the font is a lil off but not bad looking. This is really nicely done. Good work~

Whoo, I have finally made a wallie featuring Rakka from Haibane Renmei! (still yet to see how it ends)
Usual history of creation, where the abstract wasn't working well and then turned out into something nice. I really
love the song 'Where will you go' by Evanescence, so I put them on the wallie. I think it fits with
what's been going on, not just in the wallpaper but in the series.
Also, it is sprinng! <33 Thought green would be over-rated, so I somehow ended up with an aqua colour. It's not
green or blue, so it will do! ;D
Took me a while to choose the scan to put with this, because there aren't a lot of Haibane scans anywhere. T_T Add
to that the fact that not all of those are good, and it takes a while to find a
good image. ^_^'
The wings were slightly different in the original scan, because they were completely black and boring. It took me a
while to figure out how to improve that, and I'm glad it worked!
Is Haibane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain made by the same person? I know ABe made this, but I didn't pay attention to the creator of Lain. Lain and Rakka look the same, and so does the style of art. :nya:
