*Helloooo everyone!*

At last I finished this one! I've been working on it 2 days in a row. I've never done anything similar so it was a bit hard to find where to start from.I used some stock photos which *doesn't want to remember xD* i modified, recoloured and adjusted to the bg.I don't want to make an analysis of this cause it would take hours!
I just want to say that i wanted to make it look like a film-strip (i even found one and saw how it looks like in colours, size of the "holes" etc.)At first it was a totally Black&Grey wall with only Spike in colour. I wanted him ti differ from the back. But then i saw that the film-strip has a more brown-red-ish colour so i put some texture/colour and voila! :P

Now about the "story" of it : I wanted to make a city. One that gives u a depressed, moody and detesting feeling. One like the cities we built and litter, full of gases and no "green". Even trees & parks are dying. So i wanted to pass this feeling through Black&Grey.
Spike was an addition. I loved the scan, love Spike(fav.char), and that's all. He just went in!

The lyrics on the upper right are from Gun's N' Roses - Civil War.
One of my fav songs, with lyrics sooo important and with so much meaning.

That's all the talking.
I hope to see some comments&critiques from u!
Thanks in advance!

The lyrics for the ones that don't know this song

[Guns N' Roses - Civil War]
Who said "Peace could last forever"
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land

And
I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war

Look at the shoes your filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no more

My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

We practice selective annihilation
Of mayors and government officials
For example to create a vacuum
Then we fill that vacuum
As popular war advances
Peace is closer

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
And I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
I don't need one more war

I don't need one more war
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway

:o Interesting take on this pic. Overall very nice, but just a couple of things: The glow on the trees and lamposts is a bit strange. I'm guessing you extracted and pasted, thus the glow. Perhaps you could try some brushes instead. Also, the perspective of the sidewalk is odd. Perhaps you could play with the transform tool to make it look more flat. Other than that, nice work.

I like the overall gloomy theme of this wall. By the title i assume you were going for a post-war scene? But i think there's something odd about how Spike and the wall sticks with the far background..
On a side note, I love that song. Keep em coming..

Great job on the wall, love the contrast between the brown of the surroundings against Spike's suit. Also got an immense kick out of the no-smoking sign :p

I like how the back drop tens to focuse on just one color. If I didn't know any better I'd say thats how Spike views like without is precious Juila... dull and uneventual. ^^;; *nervous laughter* not to say thats what I think of your wall >_> I actually think its really cool which is why its going into my favorites ^.^ nice work! *thumbs up*
