Nice. I love the warm colours & soft textures. The different tones or sepia give it a real old fashioned feel, which
matches the appearance fo the traditional looking Soul Soceity. Yet Hitsugaya's expression stops itfrom being a
peaceful & serence moment... it really sets the whole thing on edge.

Layers: I really dont want to count them cause they are more than 50.
Techniques: Some blur, noise, textures & gradients.
Resources: Default photoshop brushes plus textures from mayang.com.
Time: 1 and a half week.
Inspiration: None. Just the image by itself.
:: About the wall
This wall i just can describe it as..."pain in the a...", why?, well, from the beginning i try something
different from this finished result, and make something different but due lack of skills and a scan that dont fit with
the concept i try this.
After seeing the first battle between Ichimaru and Hitsugaya i try to make a scene in the middle of the SoulSociety, at first it look simple but then i start having some troubles with the buildings and then i just start to play with effects and textures.
The sunset idea came from comments in the sandbox thread [thnx Evan] and cause yesterday i see for 11th time the battle between Ichigo and Renji.
Why beneath the light ? Cause always Hitsugaya try to find the true behind Ichimaru and his actions, and is the first that find the Aizen conspiration, hope you get the idea...

well...it's pretty good actually.hitsugaya looks pretty cool as usual^^ the background looks great with the traditional looking buildings..the colours and texture also add marvelously to the appearance of the wall...nice work!

Great colors, gives a really soft tone. But ofcourse Hitsugaya would look great with any color surrounding him. He looks kinda tall in this wall, or is it just me?

I think it has a great concept =) And you sure did a great job with the background. Though the building is flat, but it sure has a great effect on the whole atmosphere. One thing you can improve on is probably the text XD

among all the walls with the same scan..this looks at its best :)
the whole scene somehow gives off an..arabic feeling

I really like it. ^^ It's simple, watercolourish and best of all, it's Shiro-chan!

Anyway, I only the background, it seems so distant and the texture's pretty. However, I don't know whether it matches with Shiro-chan himself, since the background is nothing like his character. Do you call this constrast? I don't know. ^^ -

However ^_^ The round line feel abit weird 'cause it is too big... And the text is too big too, the scan shouldn't got texture on like that ^_^
