i love the vector. it's very clean and i love the simplicity of the wall. the question you asked on the wall has convinced me to check out the manga. great job with the wall. i love it. :)

After reading Mizuki Hakase's manga masterpiece (beautiful art style and plotline...sigh...sheer perfection)...The
Demon Ororon (Akuma no Ororon) I knew that I had to wall it
Out of all the pages I scanned from the four volume series, I chose to start with this chapter page scan
The sparse, clean art of MH inspired me to design my first Illustrator only vector wall...vector tracing the character
and vectoring everything else from scratch
About two intense days and (after merges) 15 layers later...I was satisfied that I had captured the look I was going
for.
Although the wall is simple, I hope it captures all the emotion that the manga evoked in me
(As a side note, I am very sad that this manga and artist are not more popular...so everyone check them out! ...am also hopeful that the sequel Empire of Midnight will one day make its way to the US...)
EDIT: I realized the thumb looks oddly blurry...but the wall is vectored so no actual blur :)
Second EDIT: and for those of you who haven't been staring at this scan style for far far too long ;) ...the
background objects are flames :)

I have nothing particularly constructive to say, just that this is definitely your best wall to date in terms of quality :D I really like the text, and the gradient shading... :3 and I like the abstract designs in the background... what are they supposed to be / what were they? *curious*

Great! I love the Demon Ororon! I'd absolutely love to read The Empire of Midnight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I think this image is beautiful.
