I needed to get back into the vector scene, seeing as I hadn't done a vector piece since I got my new mac. This particular piece was completely done in photoshop; I need to get myself a copy of Illustrator for Mac, I felt so bare without it. Anyway, the whole thing was originally inspired by an Aston Leach piece, which has a simple vector of 2 feet jumping in joy, I tried to make the idea my own by creating my vector far more complicated with the addition of patterns a different posture of the character and other insignificant details. I spent the whole day working on this wall, and Im quite satisfied with the simplicity and elegance that I achieved. I personally chose BECK for the piece mainly because other than a few crapmonster walls conteined in its gallery, most of its walls are lacking in the originality section, and although this isn't anything else than a simple vector..its different from all the beck wallpapers. enjoy.

For those of you wondering, Transistor Transistor is an amazing band which you all should check out.

I love the way the whole wall moves since theres movement but i wish you could use that warning pattern (pedestrian vector) to extend up to te end of the wall but thats my only opinion but anway beautiful job as always! :P

I always really like your original and more simple looking walls. And this one is really cool. Now I want to go find out who Transistor Transistor is. ^_^

Very very cool. I really love the whole idea of just seeing the legs. Love the patterns and the colors are awesome. Excellent job.

Ok now i can put a comment. You're one of the small couple of peaople who are really makin revolution ! You're not the guy who always make a wallie with a sweet girl and sicky cute bg with lots of flowers and sun , where everyone is happy. Your works , sometimes can look simple but it doesn't mean that they are simple. This one is smthin new and fresh and that's why i like it.But right side is really too empty , meaby one splash of brush :P ? +fav

different from the dark walls that u've been submitting lately.
A fresh one i see and this is definitely original :)
i love the subtle patterns that u've used. These "insignificant details" added just make the wall looks more stylish.
and yep... "clean, simple and stylish"...i can't find other words that describe better.
    great wall :)

Very fantastic >_<. Fav from me ^^

It's okay. Nothing great or new here and I don't really see why this was highlighted. First of all, the right side is way empty - this wall would border on plain rather than simple. Though your concept may have been good, it wasn't carried out too effectively. Maybe if you had more lines that lead the viewer's eye toward the subject that continued throughout the whole wall, it would be better. Cutting the chord off makes it look rather more like a tail than a cord ;)

By the way, 5 out of 6 of the highlighted images have been vectors... can we move on a little please? No offense to anyone but I think only 3 out of the 5 vectors actually deserve it. This is more of a comment to the highlighters in general, not the waller.

I energetic piece even though you see only the legs. It's a simple piece but I really like how you setted it up. A really nice job on the vector and the colors are nice and soft and goes well together. Good stuff~
