Hi again. First time since I join MT to submit two wallpapers in less then 3 weeks. ^^
Since it is Hina Matsuri Festival today in Japan. I am making this wall for it. Took 6 hours to do it minus the 1 hour
for idea thinking.
Lets start with the background. the background of the sakura petals is combine using a brush from TekuTeku. with some
sparkles brush. The fence of something like that is drawn and the bg is suppose to be red but i covered it with 50%
opacity white.

the characters are easy to extract since it is one piece ^^;; i know it is a little grainy but thats how i want it to be.
the wood of the floor is a bit out but i like the effect. it is also drawn in photoshop. first with brown then noise it and motion blur. gives of the usual smooth wood effect.
last but not least, the banners. i love it. my first time doing things made of cloth. the font is japperneese *or something like that*. i draw the banner first then apply the wave filter. if u look properly, the sakura flower in the bg and the banner is the same brush. not bad, huh. at first i didn't put the shadows, so when i first look at it, it is illogic. so after i added it, it looks great.
so the whole thing is about 35 layers in total. taken 6 hours to completely finish it.

I... am incredibly amused by this wall. Forget the fact I know nothing about the anime, the whole concept is just too sweet! (fave!)
