well... here! my ultimate invension ^^ well I made it for doujishin arena and I didn't kew what to draw, so I went out for a walk and I saw to birds standing on a tree, and I started thinking that love is not only for humans but for all species ^^ so trying to make something original, I drew this girl holding with her hand two birds, I found it more original than making two persons holding hands or something like that....
well talking about how much this one took me. It took me like 2 days^^ day 1 to
make the drawing ( this one is the second drawing I invent so I took loooots of
time with it ^^) and day 2 I used it to paint it....
well I'm happy with the results and I hope you like it as much as I do ^^ please comment cuz is one of the first drawings I've invented so far...

yes, i like it. you've added a lot of details for this one, especially the hair.
but i wish you;d colored her whole body, so that it wouldn't look so plain. and bg helps too.
I think her clothes(all the things she wear) need to improve though. Its looks kinda flat. Her shoulders is too round and her arms looks a bit thick. The birds is a little too small, a little only.
Try to make some more foldings too. And also the hair looks very unatural, try to make it flow in 1 way but not spread up in so many direction like this. She is a bit no expression, if u make her eyelid close a bit it will be better.
^_^; I didnt mean to criticise you so much or try to discourage you, u do have a lot of potential and talent^^. Because u wrote that you need advise to improve on your work so i think i give some of my oppinion ;
Anyway good doujin overall, hope to see more of your work^^.

idea of love is original and I just happen to adore small birds of all
kinds.
You illustrated your character very nicely and the birds are so cute.
Your
character has a very calm express that helps the picture appear very peaceful. I
also like the colors you choose. They are relaxing to look at but not dull. It's
a great combination of colors and I like her outfit too.

love her hair, and esp her eyes (very expressive and sweet) ^__^ and the
cross-hatching colouring is nicely done as well, though her skin could be shaded
a bit more (or maybe your scanner is just being mean to you?) 
nice design and great execution!
