You can see the outline around Yukino's hands and the background looks too...artificial, it doesn't look like they're lying on a meadow, but then again, it's your first time making grass so...and you did nice work painting the rest of the scan. :) Keep it up! :)

My second Kare Kano wall :)
This time of Yukino and Arima...such a cute couple...
I found this Original Scan when
making my siggy, and totally fell in love...
Unfortunately, not only was it rather lower quality, most of Yukino and Arima were missing, as you can see.
Crazily, I decided to do a wall anyway by painting in the rest.
Countless hours and 45+ layers later (hey I definitely got some painting practice in ^_^' ), here is my hoping for
springtime wall...
Everything except the original scan was painted by me in Photoshop
(First time making grass so be kind)

EDIT: Cleaned up extraction and other minor edits
I was trying for a more cutesy fantastical look (ridiculous fake butterfly :D )
so sorry about the unreality of the scenery... ^_^'

45 layers? how many hours did it take you.. >.< ...that's one of the reasons why i can never get my hands on PS... too many layers... too many things to consider... -_- ..demo - the letters from their arm must be a pain.. but it's only noticeable in full view.. ^_^' maybe putting some overlapping strands of grass around their bodies will heighten(?) the effect.. but i know you already worked much on this.. ^_^' your green is more vibrant than the scan in contrast with the rather pale complexion of the characters and that made them standout!.. good job overall! :D

Oooh, lovely paint job xD I think you did a nice job on the grass considering that you had to do that vast expanse from scratch... @_@ It really looks nice, yay!
The only thing I'd suggest is for the original scan to be re-CGd or painted because the quality of the image (especially around their faces) is noticeably less high quality then the rest of the paint job :3

Yeah...I kinda want to do that...I tried doing it while painting in the rest but I didn't do enough...maybe I'll tackle it during my next free time (right...who knows when that'll be)

um...no offense or anything...but it kinda looks like they're floating..and..that the grass is like....just that cloud effect in photoshop, y'know? And I don't really get the title: "A garden in her face" but it makes me laugh xD You cleaned up the extraction pretty well though ^^
