Artist Comment

Note: Please read all of my comments (yes, all) before you make a comment or something cuz I don't like it when people ask questions etc...or leave lame comments. K thanks! -Pandie

Wahhh I'm alive!

This is one thing that I don't really do: work with Illustrator. This is actually a project that I had to do last year, however, I didn't get to finish it. So this year, my teacher wanted me to finish it so she could enter it into a contest or something.

I've forgotten that you had to have a lot of patiences to do all those details. I sat there completing it and I thought to myself "How the hell did I just sit here for five hours straight just doing this?!"

Hahaha anyway, it's an original concept for surrealism. It's not like what everyone else did (which was copy the same idea as what was given as an example). There is a meaning to it, but I sorta forgot part of it O_o

Anyway, comments and critiques please?

EDIT
I had a huge rant-ish thing on my DA one about how someone doubted that this was my work. So if you want the full details, read it in my DA link (the comments for this image).

EDIT #2
For the last time, THIS IS NOT A WALLPAPER. Please do not call this a wallpaper.

I love the details of the vectors, the design composition is superb and surrealistic aspect jogs my mind as most art liek this does since it leads your eyes in many places at once which i like mostly (in an artists point of view). Anyway lovely piece as always! :P

This is just awesome! I wish you'd uploaded a larger version, since vectors scale so nicely, but oh well. The details are lush, I especially like all the levels in the water that really make it flow and feel like and watery, and the effect of it coming out of the magnifying glass is a great touch. The contrast of colors between forest and city help to separate the two elements, and the bright orange of the butterfly is a great focal point.

Yea i really like the concept with the magnifying glass, the details are very nice and come together well and the colors are a perfect blend. It gives me a feeling of seeing what is hidden from behind the scenes :) Good Work!

I really like it. I love how you made everything fit together like you did. My art teacher made me use illustrator too. I like it somewhat. I guess that it just because I don't know how to use all of the features yet. Well, great job and thanks for sharing!

I love it. It shows that there are hidden beauties if you look close enough. I like the light colors with the contrast of the bg. It must've took a while to vector all the shades and colors. And I don't know how someone can mistake it for a wallie. >_> It's not the right dimensions. *sigh* People . . . Anyways, this is really awesome work. ^_^
