hey TenX, I think this is a pretty good attempt on your part at trying to add a background to your picture :) the more experience you get in trying to do things like this, the better you'll get at it I'm sure ;) everybody has to start somewhere don't they :) ;) you are right about a lot of the elements in this background having become unrecognisable though ^_^' I was wondering what the object was in the top left-hand corner of the background and it was only until I blew it up that it dawned on me that it might be a window with flapping curtains! If it's not this then you've got me completely flummoxed I'm afraid ^_^' personally, I think the background is a bit too blurred given that you've decided to use a room for it... the more distance you have in the background, the more out of focus things tend to to get and I don't think she's that far away from background behind her as the blurring suggests... I also think that perhaps you could have used a different colour for the wall behind her as there's an awful lot of white in this picture ^_^' as I said before though, I think this is a very good attempt at adding a background to your picture so keep up the good work TenX and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future :) I take it back what I said about the curtains and window, even if you don't blow it up it they definitely look as if they are precisely that :)

well.. hmm... first i want to thank again KingOfDice, missy1066 and FlowerDog for their coment and opinion in this draw before i updated it.. ^^...
so i tried to make some BG... hmm.. at the end.. it stayed more like a test to me.. cause i really suck doin it... ^^..
and.. i had to drew it all in computer... and i'm really not used to it.. well.. the bg form originaly was much
more smooth.. but... i want it disfocused from the "real" image.. cause of this the bg is now all blurred and
lots of elements hav disapeard ore became non-understandble xDDD but to be truth i liked the way it turn out... but i
still wish to do it much better on the next draw...

Not bad. The drawing of the girl itself is cute and well done. The blurry effect is very interesting and I see that you wanted to make the girl the main focus of your complete version of this CG drawing. I could make out some of the stuff in the background but I think a none burry background would have work better with this drawing. Though the pic doesn't feel empty and I actually like the feel of the background, it feels very bedroom or homely like. :) Very good effort TenX. I am not too good with background either but I am sure you would improve better than I can. XD Keep it up! :)

Hehe, now with bg ^^ It looks better with it, though it's a bit blurry but well... it's not a big problem ^^'
As I said before, I really like this cell shading style and the colors looks nice too :)
