This is really nice! I love the deep colouring and original concept.
Artist Comment
The original image was nice on print, but not so much as a desktop, so I re-did the background, using bits of the rock from the original image and used a combination of techniques to create the ocean, clouds and other rocks. I pointedly excluded the moon, so your eye would instead be drawn to Saya, as the lightest point.

yeah it's really neat. Pretty much everything is flawless technically
( except probably for those smudged, I guess they are clouds, in the horizon sky, they really look smudge tool whored XD )SO. lol, dramatic lunar lightning, it's not my taste. But I like how the light really is contrasted and concentrated into little areas :D

It's a very pretty wallpaper. I like the darker coloration to this. The rocks and ocean look nice, and the sky is terrific. I love that the sky isn't cluttered with lots of "look at me!" effects like an oversaturated starfield with improbable celestial bodies...and I personally am delighted by this wallpaper's moonless nature. The clouds themselves look very nice in place of those flashier effects. The light beams are a very cool effect and I like how they light up the characters...great lighting work. Overall, a very nice wallpaper. Thanks so much for letting us take a peek at your work.

The whole scene is so dark and gloomy and your lighting is just amazingly done. I really do hate to follow a crowd but this is so georgous I just have to fav it. Thanks for sharing :)
