At last i finished!

This is my new wallie after a long time. Studying didn't leave me much time for photoshoping.
I finished watching Honey& Clover last month, and since then i was thinking about making such a wall.

About the wall :
At first i made the road. Added noise and a bit plastic wrap to make it look more realistic.
Then i made the barrires and added a stone texture.
I added the trees and the grass.
And now The backgound.
I wanted to make a sunset and i wanted to use the sea too.
So, at first I made my own back but i din't like it. So i took a real sunset photograph.
The problem was that it was at 800x600 and i had to fit it on a 1600x1200 wall. So i resized it and as u understand bye-bye quality.
So, i redraw some parts(the mountains from scratch, some parts of the sky and the sea). It looked good but it was too "real" in crontrast to the gfx road and barriers.
So i changed the colour and made it more bright by adding purple,pink and yellow since in the start it was mostly red.
I liked the result. As i was looking at it i thought "it's nice like a painting" and then i came up with the idea!
I put some filters (mainly watercolor) and added textures (sandstone on the sky, and canvas on the sea) and some patterns too (can't recall their names XD), all in order
to make it look more like a painting.
And now, the most difficult part. The character.
I have searched the whole internet but i couldn't find a Takemoto pic with him on his bicycle.
So, i took a screencap from the 2nd ending video. It was so bad at quality that when i stretched it, it was almost destroyed.
Since i had the idea from the start to make it a black figure and not using a normal char. pic, i made it black.Then it's the painful part. 2 hours of cleaning and extracting.
And then the bicycle didn't seem very good. So i erased most of it and redrew it myself.When i thought that i had finished, i stared at the head. It looked more like a ball
than a human head. So, i decided to take another screencap. I fortunately found one at the angle i wanted. I cleaned and extracted it and after colouring it black i adjusted to the
body.
Then , i put some outer glow to make him stand out from the mountains.
After that I made his shadow which i think went out well :P

Added some leaves, the text and a seagul on top of it.

I wanted to put some birds too but i didn't like them in the end.

When i was sure that i finished i thought of adding a Hagu's pic. I found a really suitable one but it didn't seem to fit with the back.
So I put her on overlay and lowered the opacity. she's under the tree of the right , hope it seems nice

I must tired u with all this talking but it's one of the best walls i made (i.m.h.o.) .
