Recently I have just been trying around to make my own designs. But since I am not studying graphics I don't have that much time for these things... obviously most of my energy was spent on the character here... I drew the face and scanned it before but the clothes I just vectored with no orientation help of a sketch and that was a lot more difficult.
The background is quite abstract... I know... well I think it's okay for this theme "witchcraft"... I don't have a scanner at the moment since I am on holiday at my parents place... and I gave up on trying to make a detailed background without a sketch... I hope some people will still like it.
Next I am going to concentrate on Arete... but actually my plan for the next months is to rather make my own drawings... and I especially want to make better, more detailed "backgrounds"... since I tend to always concentrate on the characters and to be lazy when it comes to the "rest"...

Your criticism is welcome as usual... ^-^

    Wow!
This is kinda spooky, but I love it!
The colors are awesome: black and red are the best together, and the bg, though simple, is great!
    Excellent job!

Bonsoir Lady Regenbogen! your original artwork is incredible.. yes; you must contunue with your works.

after seeing the thumbnail i got really excited as this is the kind of art i like.

everything is well done: the lady looks beautiful and the setting and colors complement her well. i especially love her hair and dress..

i only have one small crit: the shadows on her face look slighty off.

    +favs

    :leaves Regenbogen a red rose:
    au revoir

Haha wow... :) Incredible job on drawing the character, and the shadowing on her face really creates a very eerie effect. The colors are a bit strange, but eerie :3 The shading on her sleeves is really nicely done. The background is a bit flat, but I think the abstract designs fits really well with the overall mood. This is impressive... and it's wonderful to hear that you're going to do more original art, I can't wait to see them xD

I really like the limited colours in this. The dark shadows create mystery, and the deep crimson sky shows even more spookiness like as though blood painted the sky :P I love the character design and costuming, too. <33

Well this looks so cool! You know I love how dark this looks and of course goes with Witchcraft. Great job with the character. Freaky. The whole background is nice with the designs. Well Done!

I really like this. The background is so pretty and simple, I really like it. Tho I think the shadings on the character's face is a little too over... You can actually just choose to shade the upper part of her face, and leave the rest be. If you wanna use anime style of course. But I somehow think that style suits in here perfectly. ^^

the simpleness of the wall is what makes it stand out, I personally love the simple walls it has way more appeal to them and yes it does make the characters stand out more.

This is an excellent wall Regenbogen great to see that you are willing to take that step and stand out again the pretty sparkly and trend whore walls. *claps*

Nice, dark and brooding colours. The character design is awesome, I like her hairstyle a lot. The shadow on her face is a bit odd, but that's a minor complaint :P . Also the background is a nice match to the overall idea of the wallpaper.

Your "plastic" style has intensity, and the background manages to support it. This is beautiful :)
