The sky colors are just awesome and the vectors are really well done. I absolutely love the simplicity of it. Eveything
seems so peaceful and I love the fact that Ichigo and Rukia are standing on a ledge which is in "no-where"
land. Great use of textures too ;)

EDIT: Tried to touch up Rukia. Improvement...limited by what I could make out of the original scan ^_^' Tried to brighten up the title too; hope it's a little easier to see now.

I thought it was time to go back to the series that started me in walling, so I looked through my image files and found this scan from the Shonen Jump 2006 Calender. It's a pretty low quality scan, so I vectored it (damn manga vectors >_< ) It didn't translate into a vector as well as I would have wished, or perhaps I should say I couldn't translate it as well.
Everything else fell into place easily. The title came first, for reasons that make me one of those idiots who read too much into manga ^_^' The basic setup, with Ichigo and Rukia standing on a ledge, came next...don't ask me to explain the logic behind that OX The details of the bg were inspired by a Yoshitaka Amano wall I saw on Animepaper.net: Sorcerer and Woman. The turquoise in the spaces between the clouds was unintentional, but I've gotten to like the dissonent colors. The birds were a mix of brush and select-path for that vector-ish look. Inserted some shafts of light too.
If you're wondering why the title is so far to the left, it's because I designed the wall for widescreen (1600x900) Once I'd gotten the composition for that where I wanted and cropped it down to 4:3, I didn't want to move anything. Besides, it adds to the edge-of-a-cliff feel.

Great composition and vectoring
Not the typical Bleach wall for sure...Rukia definitely looks more cheery than usual
Not too sure about the bright shade of blue for the sky, but a nicely designed background that suits the scan
Like the birds and the text (although Heaven blends in almost too well)...they definitely complement the the background and characters

It really looks like some watercoloured picture and that's what I like best about it. The textures look good as well, and the positioning of the characters is great. Only the ledge seems strange to me <.<

Really like the vector you've made and the text is great... even if it's not that visible ^_^' but the texturing is really what does it for me in this hole composition, great job with that.
Your walls are always very stylish, perhaps that's because you know how to make simplicity work out which seems to be the hardest part all the time ;)

It almost looks like it's watercolored. I like how it's clean, neat, and simple. There isn't a whole bunch of nonsense going on in the background. It really makes you focus on just the characters. Great work! :)

i am not too sure to say yes or no to this wallpaper, it is really simple, almost like when u look at the wallpaper, everything seems to be dominated by emptiness and simplicity.
Of course, one thing that makes it standout is the exact same reason. I would like to say this is greatly vectored, the concept is very refreshing and well done, I say if I am to create a wallpaper such as this one, it would not have been the same or come close, this is indeed a wallpaper worthy of praise. I guess being a fav whore, I would fav this, simply because it is one of the wallpapers that are most eye-refreshing than otherwise. -
