Wow! This caught my eye immediately. I think it is the earthly tones the wall gives or maybe how serene and musical it is. Your extraction is very good. And I like the texture of the backdrop. Though simple, it has a peaceful, nostalgic feel to the overall wall. Very nice work ^_^

This was one of those pictures that the moment i saw it millions of ideas went racing through my head, and this is one of them ^^.
The sheet music in the bg is from: http://alphatrance.com/0engine/music/anime
and is the score for a piece called Yasashii Seiza (Simple Constellation).
The website had it listed under memories off so i hope that's right.
There's sheet music for heaps of diferent anime including D.N.Angel , Ah! my goddess , RahXephon etc. So give it a
look if your interested.
I was trying to get a sort of earthy feel for this wallpaper and even though it's simplistic (in comparison to some of my other walls) i think it actually came out rather well.
I know hardly anybody comments on my stuff but if ya happen to drop by and ya like it or even if ya think it sucks tell me so it doesn't bother me ^^ .That said, see ya later :) .

ooo pretty cool. i like the nice placid piano stuff. very good and fitting. all revolving round the piano good feel to this one i like it good job keep em coming! don't get discouraged about not so many comments as you would like i don't get very many for my stuff either but keep pluggin away cuz your stuff is still good despite the fact! go spike!

This is a really interesting wallie, I like the scanyou used it's very pretty and the background you added fits perfectly ^^ As you said it's quite simple but I like the texture and the final composition is very nice and calm ^^ You did a very good job spike, keep it up!

I was going to comment on this earlier, but my account was having some technical problems. Sorry about the delay...
I followed that link expecting to see the background already built, and found plain sheet music- I was actually pretty surprised at that; you obviously put some work into making that background. What caught my eye was the brown background tone; I haven't seen many wallers that experiment with a brown background, but here it works well. It has a soft grainy appearance that's easy on the eyes, contrasts well with the scan, and sets an overall "peaceful" mood.
I like the "warp" effect you used with the music lines, and the girl in the pink dress catches the eye here far better than she could with a brighter background. Also the flowing text catches just enough attention without being too obtrusive. "Beautiful" only has one L, but I'll let that go...
Anyways, I'm proposing it. And I'm sticking it on my own computer for a while.
