Since I watched the anime series, I have wanted to make a wall paper out of this image. That was several years back and my photoshop skills then were sorely insufficient to recreate the lighting and background. In fact, I only recently picked up vectorizing.
Finally, its done! Hope that the overall image is ok. All comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The quality of the vector is simply wonderful and the background is fitting so well.

This is a very clean and well done wallpaper. I just love how you vectored the scan, even though there are some rough edges here and there, but its nothing to worry about. You also added just the right amount of sparkles to keep it simple, while the water is nicely done as well (did you make it?)
