Explanation
Text written in red is epigraph from 16 volume, which had capitain of ten division on cover. It means:
Sunny mane of snowstorm swept the footprints on the thin ice.
Don't fear of falsehood, the world for a long time rest upon a lie.
(This tranlation is not perfect, i admit, because english is not my native language, sorry).
And let me mention a couple of facts: Hitsugaya's name "Toshiro" means "Winter Lion" (hence -
mane), and first hieroglif in his family is "Sun". And the last line is from image song of Ichimaru, actually
it is this song title.
Since i read this quatrain, i regard it as very poetic description of duel of third and tenth capitains.
Creation
1 step - vectorization of manga scan, deleting of unnecessary details and adding details that is missing of,
colorization. CorelDraw.
2 step - painting of icy background. Photoshope. Lots and lots layers.
3 step - combination
4 step - crisis of creativeness. Which way must be the text?
5 step - Suddenly it dawned upon me - the sun from first stroke, crimson like blood sun - that is a key word.
6 step - adding the text, mountain's outline (after the sun was added, the whole picture distinctly acquire a
japanese colouring, so a bit of traditional elements wouldn't be out of place) and a few snow-flakes. Another piles
of layers.
And it finally done. I hope it's turn out not too bad. Maybe a little gloomy because of blood stains, but the rhyme was so from beginning.
