Okay making a pause with my submissions of "Stock old Wallies" I wanted to share with you my latest work!
I�´ve always loved this CCS scan! I don�´t like Sakura very much, but this scan is lovely ^^ so here's my wallie of it!
I had a really hard time with the water -_-' I wanted it to look very realistic :P hope I make it right.
The idea of the wallie is to represent the rennaissance of Earth...where the girl emerges from the water and with her magic makes a new world!
The lighting effects and sparkles are to give an Apocalyptical feeling to the whole situation XP
The sky, part with clouds and part with stars...to break the tradition of only clean starry skies
Ummm another point is the color tones...I wanted to mostly make a duotone wallie...giving the eye attention to the Magic that she is creating during the renaissance...
I also played a lot with the lights and shadows in the BG and the scan itself, hope they turned out right ^^

I cannot describe to you how much I love the water in that wall. The reflections and the ripples, gorgeous!
To me the lightning doesn't quite look right, but in the midst of so much else that was done right it's only a minor imperfection.+fav!

Unbelievable! The water is surely very realistic-looking. And what I ~luv~ the most in this wall is the lighting effects. What I mean is you see that lighted part in the sky at the horizon and then you made sure to reflect that in your water and in the shape of a tunnel-effect because of the trees in the far back. I was wowed by that. And your water! Love how you incorporated those brushes just right in the foreground there. The clouds and lightning are beautiful and add power and drama to the scene. And the scan is beautiful. I agree it should be a little more centered and not so baby-blue. I think that shade of blue is a bit off from the rest. But from reading your description, I see why you wanted a duocolor tone to your wall. Well, it worked then! It does set the magic off and different from the rest of the wall :) *claps* My big concern is that water around her. It is hard to incorporate a colored/cartoon scan into a realistic backdrop and I can't tell if you purposely made that water waves near her to look similar to the scan style or that you had some rough time with it to look realistic as the rest of the water. If you wanted it to be a little more realistic, maybe a stamp brush some of the realistic water that you already did onto it in another layer above that layer of the water around the scan and then drop the opacity of that layer so it blends in and yet gives a kick of some realism. I hope that makes sense ^^;;

Wow, it's amazing!
The sky, water and plants are just perfect! I really impressed with their harmony. My only complain is about the "thing" under her, I think it's doesn't fitting very well... and the feathers you could extract better, other than this the wall is simple amazing, definetly a fav ^^v -

I have to say this is a pretty nice wall, all the effects are neat. Nice lighting touches on both the feathers and the lightning in the background. In any case nice looking wall.
