Okay making a pause with my submissions of "Stock old Wallies" I wanted to share with you my latest work!
I�´ve always loved this CCS scan! I don�´t like Sakura very much, but this scan is lovely ^^ so here's my wallie of it!
I had a really hard time with the water -_-' I wanted it to look very realistic :P hope I make it right.
The idea of the wallie is to represent the rennaissance of Earth...where the girl emerges from the water and with her magic makes a new world!
The lighting effects and sparkles are to give an Apocalyptical feeling to the whole situation XP
The sky, part with clouds and part with stars...to break the tradition of only clean starry skies
Ummm another point is the color tones...I wanted to mostly make a duotone wallie...giving the eye attention to the Magic that she is creating during the renaissance...
I also played a lot with the lights and shadows in the BG and the scan itself, hope they turned out right ^^

Nice wall. Love the use of colors - how you've kept it really to tones of one color. I also love the bg - the clouds and the sky look so real, the water rippling away from her is lovely, and the rest of the bg really works to add to the mood of the wall.
My one suggestion is to move her a little more into the center because the wall doesn't seem completely balanced.
Other than that, well done!

Wow, that is awesome. Everything about it is so cool, especially the background. I personally think the anime picture looks wierd on the realistic background, but the overall impression is great. Thanks for making!

One thing I don't really like about this wall is the extraction. It's too jagged >< It would be better if you could blend the scan more to the background =) -

I think the background is really cool. I love it, especially the shadow effects. I must say though, the rocks in the scan come out really weird. It would have been better if you could just take them out. Of course that's just my humble opinion. :)

Very nice atmospheric bg. Though I am not sure about the lightning. The scan is in a peaceful mood so the the whole mood coming out of this should be like that also. Just the scan is not appropriate for this bg I think that's all. The water and color choice to set the mood is really great.
