Not really a festive image for a birthday, but I'm sure she's happy with it.
Cool outfit on the girl. The extraction of the drawing (before placing it on the
background) isn't very clean though. It's hardly visible in the preview image,
but the full-sized image has some rough and oddly coloured lines around the
edges. Aaand I would maybe expect a sharper shadow behind her when standing so
close to the wall. Oh, and her left leg is probably a tad too long compared to
the bend one. That's all. Still a great drawing. 
Yeah, I agree too, its look like a dark birthday to ever be remembered eh ?
But its suitable too concerned the Shin Megami Tensei ambience
