ive been pretty slack but finally decided it was time i created a new wallpaper
this time i have gone with a Bleach theme
got the lads Toushirou,Kenpachi and Byakuga in this piece
like to thank the following people for the scans used in this piece kiera2 of AP , Shiro-chan and Keeeeen-chaaaaan of MT

originally i was going to put in hollows (gillians) as well but decided to not go ahead with it as ill use that particular scan for another piece ijm thinking about creating soon.

wanted to give this wallpaper a darker feel to it but wanted my main boys to stand out "in the darkness"
first time i have played around with lighting...i know its not crash hot but this is what i did
top left of piece is meant to be the light source and on each scan i tried to make the effect show the light hitting them from the top left while their body was getting darker towards the bottom light...dont know if i achieved that effect but hey it is my first time
i know im a novice at lighting but you have to start somewhere
any tips would be appreciated
i think the coloring of the sky came out ok in this piece whitish/pale yellow mixing into a yellowish/orange mist on ground level
other thing is i threw in a couple of trees to give it that dark creepy theme to it and added the birds circling in the sky as a final touch

hope you all like it any comments or critisism welcome

Disclaimer: The scans used are not my own but the overall concept design and background design is mine

Whatever anime Pana Senpai is working on... you do it good. I was fixated by the Tsubaasa Reservoir Chronicle Bitter Sweet Memories, and now I am mesmerized by the grand feeling of Byakuya and his fellow Shinigami.

I really love the way you play with the Sepia. It greatly shows off the ambiance and strengthen the characteristic of the four heroes.

    Great stuff ^_^

Thats pretty neat, the background is veru nicely done, I love it. Clouds and all, looks so realistic and you really gave it a nice dark look to it. Great BG + great characters makes a tremendous wall. Awesome Work, keep those wicked wallies coming! ^_^

Ah,i like the look if this wip. The text is bad tough, it distracts me from the stocks. I would also like to see more details in the bg. As far as light and colors i think they are good on the stock and bg.

  9. haxaco Feb 05, 2006

i really like this wall but i would love to see a no-text version of it, it seems a little out of place xD

Nice job. One of the most interesting Bleach walls I've seen. I like the dark feeling you give to the wall, and I like how the scan of the guys contrasts to the bg. I think, though, that the lower left hand corner needs something. It just feels like the tree just isn't enough.

But good job. Oh yeah, also love the lighting job you did too!
