a quick grungey wall i did of rin. pretty much all i did here was put in some stock on factories in the back, then play around with some textures, blurs, and overlays. the font used is alice in chains' facelift font off of their selftitled album. the lyrics are from the song of the same name from Bushs' album Science Of Things.

Crap, you marvelous man, as soon as I saw this wall I immediately set it as my desktop. This is just a gorgeous grunge piece and the first wall I've seen in a good while were I actually want text to be on it. I salute you for not only walling Rin, but for making such a godly piece of work and sharing it with us.
First off, the scan. I can't say I've seen this scan anywhere before and a bit curious to where you found it. Rin just fits so perfectly the the mood it sets is just amazing *_____*. I have to say the choice of black and white was also a great idea. For some reason, I've been into that lately so this really fits my recent craze. Beautiful job with the extraction and she looks just gorgeous in the rain.
The wall, oh wow, where do I begin. Do I start with the beautiful choice of words in the bg which just really ask so many real life questions that we all ponder about sometimes or just simply some famous phrases, or do I comment on how I love the sorta 'industrial' look this background brings. Or prehaps on the black and white theme it has going on. I can't even begin to really comment on this wall in only that I love it. I think you did a beautiful job in general and putting her in such a gloomy and dreary location was just perfect in my opinion. She really fits naturally and looks great there too. Of course, excellent job with the rain and the text is one of my personal favorites. In fact, this was the big winner for me, aside from the whole wall in general. I'm a fan of Alice in Chains, so as soon as I saw the text I knew where you got it from XD. It's also just very nicely done and the placement is perfect too, it doesn't take up too much of the screen, yet isn't too small either. Just such a dark and depressing mood, yet it's so very fitting and I find it to be rather calm and serene in a sense. Just..as if time were standing still for her in general, while all of these things were going through Rin's head. Overall, a beautiful presentation.
What else can I say? I cut my rambling greatly because well, I'd feel bad for rambling on about such beauty. All I can say is that Crap, you blow me away with your work. Beautiful job melon cat fan, simply a gorgeous grunge piece, definately a favorite of the month for me. If this seems a bit distorted, it's because I have the flu, just to let you know @_@. Just though I'd let you know incase this seems a bit different than my normal posts.

Holy rusted metal, crapmonster! That is one sweet wall you made. For a "quick grungy wall" it looks superb. I love the dirty rain effect and the factories in the background. The sky looks smog-filled, and the rain looks particularly acidic...I love it. The scan of Rin looks terrific, and it really melds into the background. The wordage is awesome, I love the both the font and the layout.
Gorgeous wallpaper, crapmonster. Thanks for making it and uploading it for us to see. It rocks.

A very original way of incorporating the text onto the wallpaper. It adds more of this 'grunginess' to the overall feeling...
