Tadaaa XD I know I haven't submitted anything for a while because I've been busy and stuff but I've been
trying to learn how to use photoshop for a while and finally I decided to finish something.
As this was my first time using Photoshop I wanted to keep it simple. For that, I made a simple sketch and then I went on coloring. I know
it's not perfect or anything, it's quite simple, but it's my first try. I know I've yet so much to
learn, but I'm quite pleased with the result :)
I know I know, the hair looks horrible >.< but it's just so difficult to make straight lines with a mouse x_x
so don't look at it ^_^' and the lines are quite messy because I didn't ink the lineart (I should have,
but I hadn't ink on my ink pen OX )
Time spent: ...... hours and hours and hours and hours of frustration and a bit of fun XD
Anyway, I really hope you like it and if anyone has some tips or advice I really could use some ^__^

EDIT: NO, I didn't use a tablet, I don't have any of those tablets >_< I coloured it with the mouse and it was a pain :/

So you did it! :o you've finally uploaded your CG... let me say as everyone already pointed out that for a first you've done an impressive job but not surprising at least to me as I have always percieved a lot of dedication and effort in all your pieces.
That being said, let's get it on :nya: the greatest result in this is your skin work, nice choice of colors, nice smudging, burning and highlighting, the way it turned out is detailed and gives depth through it.
I enjoyed the patern you made for the shirt and the hair though you seem quite uncomfortable with it looks really good, just maybe a bit blurring on the hair's roots so that the burned isn't that much obvious would help or perhaps if you did a little smudging with a grainy brush ;)
But really, for a first CG you should feel very very proud :D

eee. she is pretty peg :3 Mnnnnmmm. I`m sorry this is a little late :( shigh I`m not a internet person this year `cause I`d rather read fashion mags now lol. Great colour - lovvvve the <3 3 the little top - looks almost real.
I also like the hair - work is great. Nice lines too.

Wow that's a nice drawing^^ Mostly good shadows but not enought contrasts. ex. on her neck or between her eyebrows and eyes. Also her forhead is a little flat:P
However it looks impresive^^! keep it up!^^ -

This is good for your first drawing in photoshop. ^^
I really understand that it's very hard to draw using a mouse. ^^ I also don't have tablet.
Try to explore using pen tool. ^^ It helped me a lot in drawing lines. :)I like her clothes, it's very nice, I really like the pattern. ^^
I love the colors you used. ^^ The pose of the character is good too. ^^I think you should add more shadings to her hair. ^^

I saw this a long time ago, like two weeks ago, but i never had time to comment until now. Sorry for being late. I dont think it looks horrible at all. Thet hair i mean. I love it. It looks so life like, the style of it that is. Love the texture. Its so soft. You did really well on this. Excellent work.

I really like the shirt; the coloring must've been such a pain, though >.< The wrinkles and such that you added into the clothing are a great little touch, by the way. You also did a nice job with the skin tones and shading (well, it's not shading but I couldn't think of what to call it) through the image. Nicely done, pegassuss :)

her clothes look really nice with the folds and patterns. very realistic. but her face lacks some shading and definition, so does her hair. nice job overall :)
