Heya :)
I just came back from my exam and I thought it was time for me to submit my latest wall ^_^
The scan is mine so NO STEALING ! (Believe it or not , but the scanning was very difficult, and the differences of color and shadows everywhere caused me a lot of trouble ^^;;)
Anyway, I would lie if I said I wasn't damn satisfied with this wall ^____^ I personnaly absolutely love it XD XD
I hope you will like it too ^_^
Mmmhh...technicals stuffs about the wall...It was difficult to repair various places but more then anything, long and
tiring because the calendar was FAR too big in comparaison with my scanner and it was divided in 6-8 parts with coloring
and shadows slightly different from one anothers...uurrkkk...(seems like im no good in scanning T___T); I used the lasso
tool to erase the sky behind Sakura and Syaoran (and then, I made some kind of decalage); I played quite a lot with
lightning everywhere though I don't know if it can be seen; surrounded the castle with a lots of lights and added
stuffs in the starry sky (the most apparent : the shooting star) ...etc...
Definitely not my most difficult work but I think it's the one that seems the best if you look at it ^_~
By the way, this will be my submission for the wallpaper contest of Tsubasa group.

EDIT : Title changed from "What did you wish that night ?" to "Sea of Stars", this is an hommage to my everlasting love for Leiji Matsumoto's animes ^_^
UPDATE : Thanks a lot to SomebodyElse who told me about an error in my wall :) It was fixed and the wall uploaded again, repaired.

Amazing usage of dark and colour. the moon really seen as glowing in the dark. I like the starts too, but there are very small minute starts which spoils it a little.

I really like the scan and the brightness of the light focused on the characters from the latern/star globe. That is a really neat effect and the brightness of the moon vs. the ground is right on. I'm not overly crazy about the text on either side. I would recommend putting the saying and the question on the same side, or one in the air. And make them stand out. If they blend this well, there's almost no reason to have them there. Also, I like that you've claimed this wall by having your name on it, but if I didn't know that you were the one who made it I'd be saying, "Cute Sherry? What the heck is that supposed to mean?" So I'd recommend putting it on the lower part of the wallpaper, and that way you can give the text sayings some treatment to give them their own life, rather than just sitting there. Perhaps add some plant life around the characters as well. It looks like they're camped out on rocks. Ouch. >.< Everything else is fantastic, though. I'll restate that I really like your lighting effects and the colors that do mimic how moonlight makes things look close to all one color. Great idea! :pacman:
