Artist Comment

Decided to take a break after working so hard on the background for C. C. Sakura wall and do something a little less difficult. Now I've had the original scan for this wall for a while, love it, I think its stunning, but its always been too complex and detailed to attempt cutting it out and trying to put it on another background, but I did want to try and make into a wallpaper. And then when I was looking at some of the walls in here, I got the idea to try this style and see how it came out. It took me a bit to get the colors I wanted and how I wanted them brushed, but I think it came out well...

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy it! :)

    That is a interesting idea, and I think it turned out lovely. Some of the white sparkle/particles on the right side of her head near her hair confuse me because they seem to disapear behing what would be her sleeve, yet others are in front of it. I really like the concept of the character being one with the background. Though, her back looks like it's breaking because there's no definition of her outfit (not that I want it to change!) It just makes my back hurt! XD Kudos on your idea, it's gorgeous as is.

    Lovely image. I'm putting into rotation for my wallpaper program. I am puzzled as to why you did not color Maya's skin or the weapon in her mouth.

    Really... Hmmmm... I really think it is kick ass. 40 layers, huh... lol That is a lot of layers but for what you have in the wallpaper, it would show. Again, kick ass and nice wall :D +fav
