During the painful struggle of my last wall (very dark and depressing), I kept getting ideas for happy walls, especially
with my favorite person...Yukino from Kare Kano...
so here is my first silly wall :)
I dedicate it to those who commented on my happy Yukino avatar...
(Look for the wall based on my siggy next! :D )
Since the Yukino picture I used for my avatar was tiny

I vectored it first before creating my background and then ended up adding Pero Pero in for balance...extracted from
this scan

Excluding the vector and extraction, I used about 20 layers
Hope this wall makes you smile too :)
EDIT: Added more outlines on Pero Pero and Yukino to make them more even overall

Ahh... cuteness! X3 Love how you did the clouds, by the way :) The outlines for Yukino look rather shaky though... I think you might've been better off vectoring her to get the smooth outlines, especially since Pero-Pero looks very very "sleek" outlines and shapes-wise :)

Actually...Yukino is vectored...but I'm still learning how to do outlines...sigh...
Pero Pero's beautiful lines come from the extraction :sweat:

Try maybe less anchor points in general. And if you're using Illustrator, abuse the smooth tool wherever you can! XD
