to be honest with you, i really love this wall.
i originally made a variation of it for myself, and myself alone, but i showed it to whiteblaze, and he really liked it, so i decided to upload it and share. if you don't like it, too bad. i actually worked on it a lot, manipulating shadows and getting the right secretive desire effect.

this is not at all what the original wall looked like when i started. when i started, it was full, and more abstract grunge. and i hated it. so i decided to crop it, make it kind of secretive and forbidden. i've always been a fan of art like that.
you could say this wall is dedicated to my evols (awww...cheesy) because he makes me feel this way xD (too much info, i know. but TOO BAD! he's sexy and he's MINE!)

as highknees said before, my walls have been losing quality lately. i'm aware of that. but, i'm also really busy. REALLY busy. you can see highknees' userpage at animepaper.net for my list of assignments (and also worship his awesome sexy walls while you're at it) just for this weekend.
i do have better walls in my queue of things to work on. trust me.
until then, bear with me, while i experiment and try new things with what little time i've had as of late.

comments and critiques appreciated and always welcomed.

Hey its the "Window blind shadow method" that i thought i had created but oh well beggars cant be choosers... nice use of the simple noir crap pointed out, the shadows and texures bring the wall alive. Nice job as always girl!

P.S. Dont worry so much about the walls Kalico... take your time, you dont bow to the likes of us unless your getting paid to do this... XD

A great work! It's really simple and clean. Ohh~ how I adore black and white. It's so charismatic and elegant respectively. I love this wallie. It's really simple yet it conveys such a great feeling. Well done! *adds to fave*

A unique composition and a very good concept - the colours (or lack of them) fits in very nicely with the mood.
If I may be a little picky, I am not particulary fond of your choice of font, especially this one that says 'Range Murata'. But, on the other hand, I can think of no alternative.

I really like how you cropped the image. It does make it more secrective and seductive. Nice idea. I think that the vertical blinds combined with her shirt are a lot of lines, but with the textures on the picture they aren't really that bad. The effect sort of reminds me of torn paper. I would consider extending the guy's outfit/jacket down a little more towards the text. He's dissapears into the background a little too soon and it would seperate him a little bit more from the background. Even if it was only a little more white shadow - like how his shoulder looks, but just on the edges. The girl kind of looks like she's kissing a bust sculpture if it wasn't for the tender embrace. :) I didn't even notice the guy until I looked at the full size version. I don't think that the thumbnail does this wall justice. Kudos for an original looking wall with a whole bunch of great maipulations. :) Kudos!

While I didn't like the original scan, I think what you did with it is just marvellous! I love your wallpaper! Thank you!
