This is a really clean and uncluttered wallpaper. I think you've done a great job of recreating the third of her that wasn't available to you :) by using such a sombre background and setting everything inside a tomb, you've done a wonderful job of recreating the whole atmosphere from the ova from whence these two characters came from... keep up the good work :)

The Saga of the Wall:
I started this wall back in November of 2005...i had wanted to do a Kenshin wall for a long time, especially after the
seeing the mostly guy-oriented walls in the gallery
I began with a scan (from the Rurouni Kenshin Meiji Kenkyaku Romance Masterpiece Collection artbook) of Kenshin and
Tomoe from the OVA...the most artistic version in my opinion (Links are 1/2 res versions of the original scans)
http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rkmasterpiececoll087small4fr.jpg
...originally it was going to be a regular extraction wall but the artbook scans turned out to be too grainy for my
taste despite their size so I decided to try out vectoring for the very first time
Vectoring Kenshin was lots of fun once I got the hang of it...
...and then I got to the actual walling part...
After working off and on into December...I ran through about 6-7 versions of it before giving up in despair...
I posted my original vector of Kenshin
http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/202368/
and decided to start over
January 2006...i managed to finish my vectors of Tomoe and Tomoe's umbrella...more painful because the scan was
rainy and dark and I had to recreate about 1/3 of Tomoe
http://img16.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rkmasterpiececoll086small6uu.jpg
My initial plan was to go for a more symbolic background but I ended up scrapping that idea too...So I finally settled
on a more realistic background with the red petals and tomb as symbolic elements
Everything in this wall...and I mean everything!...was personally vectored/drawn by me with my meager skills using
Photoshop and Illustrator
Aside from the two character scans I also looked at various photos/scans but only as guides...I lost count of how many
layers I used in total...
SO FINALLY...after three months, I'm willing to let go of this project
I can only hope it reflects a fraction of the time and effort
(I know it's not even close to perfect)
and hope it does justice to Kenshin and Tomoe's tragic but beautiful love

Ahh... :) Interesting work on the background :D And everything works extremely nicely as a wall :3 Now you just need to practice vectoring a bit more so you can get smoother lines overall... :) Nice, for a first vector though... can't believe you did it in Photoshop lol... It's so much easier in Illustrator >:3
P.S. Dammit I'm hungry now T_T And it's now 3:40am *cries* I am SO going to be jetlagged T_T
