Yuji Kobayashi's painted stylegives Rei & Asuka his usual brand of warm & soft tones that no other artist seems to match.

Yet what really sets this aside from al others, for me at least, is the design. That wonderfully kitch 1060's photograph shoot look to it, with the see-through plastic skirts, bikinis with high heels and self-confident poses... the only thing it's missing is David Bailey (or Austin Powers )

That's no man, they're women, baby ! That's one ultra kwel scan ! I recognize the B/G behind Asuka and Rei. That's the Mainichi Global Center in Tokyo, Japan. I have seen the bldg. in a newspaper when I was over there last year.
