Although the Paradise Kiss anime was very quiet, it had a very good OP. Those city fly-by, and especially the part where the 3 side characters were shown one after the one, inspired me to work on this wallpaper (even the name was based on the OP). If a music were to be coupled with the wallpaper, the OP song would be it.
I actually started working on this last October, but the butterfly in the original manga scan were too complex for me to vector (kind of new to Illustrator), so the wallpaper ended up on hold. Recently I picked up the wallpaper again thinking, "Heck, instead of letting the butterfly stops me, why not just simplify it and make it into part of the logo, like in the anime.", and that's what I did.
I made the wallpaper widescreen because the wide angle fit the wallpaper better. I didn't think 4:3 would feel correct.

Not a bad vector :) & it's interesting how you inserted the screen caps of the side charas into the bg...which may be a little over-filtered, though.

This is such a cool wall! I love the city background, it always highlights the city night life! :) You did such a wonderful job! I can really tell how much work you put into it! Also, I like the widescreen. I haven't seen too many of them and this one looks and *is* so awesome! Thank you for sharing! ;)
