i used a stockphoto for the bg mainly but i worked a lot on it..i tried out a lot of different version but at the end i
liked this....
about the color: originally the pic was too colorful...so i decided on one color: blue..:D i thougth this color fits
perfectly Rukia, because of (for example) her sword( those who read the manga know..), or the despondency while she was
waiting to the execution etc etc...
well...i hope u like it too in a way :)

lovely & beautiful. I like the background a lot ... and the butterfly :) but yes, as mentioned above by others .. she's looking sad. however, the melancholic atmosphere seems to suit the wallpaper a lot. Great work! Keep up the good job!
