Music: Heart Of Air-KISS ME SUNLIGHTS
Agenda: I always wondered how would a half grunge wall and a half scenic/vector wall would actually turn out either in a good or bad way. So i tried it out my self. I first downloaded the needed brushes for this half of the wallpaper. The scan speaks for it self! After im done brushing down, i started to vector a nice looking rock mountain landscape. With the right colors and shadings. Added a reflection to the finished landscape, to make it look like as theres water surrounding them. Added some flying birds, added a clould like layer. Added some few textures to the wallpaper, and added some stars.

I like this wallpaper very much!
She is really pretty and looks at the same time quite cool the way she holds the sword! :)
Besides, the soft colors of this wallpaper do somehow have calming effect on me...A cool looking wallpaper that calms me down... something I always wished to find and thanks to you this wish has come true! :)

Love the title :D
Love the girl's expression, you don't see those faces very often. The texture is very nice. However it seems to lack something, since the the scene is rather tranquil for a character that seems to be in the middle of an action.

I like the mountains and sky alot. Nice combination of nature and grunge.
However, I have to agree with exentric that the white-ish edge along the hair (the part of hair that is against the mountains) is pretty visible. -

I quite like it, and its angle. Admittingly it did take me a moment to realize that those were mountains, but that was probably because I didn't immediately think to look at it straight, so it appeared more clear. Anyways, excellent blending of a detailed character with a nicely simple background, and the colours are nice to the eyes.

I do like its simplistic design, and the scan is pretty awesome too. I like the clean cut lines followed by mellow sepia colours. I think I've seen another sepia like wallpaper recently too that was nicely done, so its good to see something nice and mellow :)
I think what you've tried to do is really nice, it's almost like a 'conqueror' as you've titled it, practising in some open desert trying to gain some sort of skill or courage as such. It's pretty neat. I do like the way although the background is simplistic, the slight faint brushes you've used have really helped to add a nice decorative finish, and really help to make the wallpaper stand out.
The brushes are nice and the wallpaper is creative - very nice :) Thank you for submitting it!

I like this better in the thumb view... I love what you did with the mountains and scenit bit but I'm not a huge fan of the other stuff... the idea is nice (love the colors and textures) but I think you could've integrated the scenic + grunge stuff better >:3

nice background! good vectoring. looks realistic enough for manga style. the birds, stars, and clouds are nice. i like the blood splotches and the lines running across the wallpaper. nice extracting!
