Well, I am playing to much WoW .. Used this chara of UtaKata because she looks like a hunter (indian style like the tauren too). Got inspiration from the game for the magic around the chara like a level-up :D. Enjoy my frist wallpaper art of the new year 2006.

I love this particular girl scan, I know where you are coming from, but she does remind me heavily of Kiddy Grade for some reason! Nice extraction, and nice choice of scan for what you are going for.
I like the dark choices of colours, but I feel like there is something missing from the background...I'm not sure entirely what, or maybe it is just the integration of the original scan and effects which are laying on top of the wallpaper into the background, I think that's what it is. If you could somehow merge the two a bit better, I think that would make it look just that bit more awesome.
I love the background anyway, I do love the way youhave done the trees and the graduation of the colours in the sky really do give a setting feeling.
Overall it is a very nice piece, and I want to say thank you for submitting it :)Stolen-chan

Hey Asashi-Chan :) nice work! I really love the scan you've used! she really looks so damn cute and innocent! not to mention that the background is done well too!
but I believe that the effect that's surrounding the girl should be removed because it doesn't suit that well with the wallie in general!
also you need to add more items to the background to make it look better cause it looks kinda empty in a way!
but I wanna congratulate you on the great work that you did extracted and blending the scan ;) also the colors you used are really matching perfectly!

Scan really crisp and overall wall is magical....makes me want to play my video games =D -
at first, i thought your background looked to empty, especially the top, but the simplicity is actually quite lovely here, and that makes us focus more on the girl!
i also like your background with the hills and trees...they have a very subtle looks, which suits the look of your wallie quite nicely.
i also really like your idea of those magical effects beneath her...and she does look she's leveling or powering up!
