I've been wanting to draw tetsuo for ages, but the problem is finding a good image. This one is at the end of volume 3.
done in .7mm mechanical pencil, and a few tweaks in photoshop.
one problem, the shadow is horrible, because it was never really supposed to be there in the first place. but it looks worse without it.
plz comment tips are welcome

Hum i think this one is pretty good, really has the feel of the guy in it. though it doesn't seem like a .7 mm pencil, more chalk or something (which isn't bad either, but it has a different aspect).

of course it's really dark, but the folds in the clothes are great, and well overall i think it's nice
Cool. Tetsuo! I think this is the first time I've ever seen an Akira doujinshi. Ever. Coincidentally I just finished reading Volume 1. It's nice to know that the drawing would become as good as this by Volume 3 cos' Volume 1's art (of the characters) isn't really that good. Hope to see more Akira doujin... like Kaneda.
