I love the expression on his face :) she's taken him totally by surprise, obviously she's a pretty determined girl who knows what she wants :D the things I love with regards to your picture are the expressions on their faces, the way you've drawn their hair (I really like the way you've done the yellow braiding in her hair in particular) and the way you've silhouetted them in blue... I like the way you haven't used too many colours but the ones you have used you've done so to good effect, personally I think you've done I really nice job in highlighting everything... overall I think this is a very good attempt on your part :) keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you ;) :)
