This wallpaper was mainly done because the opera visit is one of my favourite scenes from Gankutsuou. I love Hadyee's dress, and was maybe just as stunned as everyone else in the anime when I saw her.

To make this wall I had to trace a screenshot I made using VirtualDub. The tracing was not too dificult but took me a while because I'm not really adepted with the whole thing yet and I've surely made some mistakes during the process. The pattern for Haydee's hair was taken from the page Patterns. Text is missing in the wall because I couldn't finde an apropriate place to put it in ^_^'

Hope you enjoy

great job capturing the essence of Haylee; Ming-Ling's patterns accent her very well.

you have been here for less than a week and I am already greatly looking forward to your future submissions.

Nice; I love that scene too :) But I feel like something is missing. The things that makes Gankutsuou so visually stunning are the patterns, which I see you've tried for here, but it doesn't feel like enough. I think some more contrast in the hair, and something glittery in the dress would be beneficial. & I think vectoring the lines always helps too, even though I know it's a bit of a hassle.
